Community Conversations: Teaching Research Skills in Today's World Online
Community Conversations is a quarterly discussion series that brings together high school and academic librarians across Kansas and Missouri together for collaborative learning and knowledge-sharing. Each one-hour session provides a space for participants to discuss challenges, successes, and strategies on a particular topic in information literacy instruction. Join us throughout the ‘26-’27 school year to connect with your colleagues across institutions!
Session Topic: With AI able to perform many traditional research and critical thinking tasks, which skills matter most now? This conversation will focus on both the enduring and currently emerging information literacy competencies students need across high school and college contexts.
